
Here is the resort owner's favorite hammock.
Of course, guests are free to use it too. He actually prefers the rope
style you see here, but we also have the thick cotton sheet variety if
your prefer. Hung between two coconut palms (one we actually allow to
grow coconuts, as you can see this and pick them from the spa area!),
this hammock gets a lot of sea breeze and palm shade. It is also at the
quietest end of the resort, and has absolutely superb sea views. It is
also a great spy seat, to watch the fisherman return with their catch.
Just in case you'd like fresh grilled fish that night.
Here you can see the line of "Penjor"
(bamboo poles with dried palm leaf dollies gracefully hanging from them).
We also have bamboo oil lanterns, for when there is a party or barbecue.
Along the sea defenses, you can make out a set of steps down to the beach,
2 meters below.
